7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data: retained for the duration of your account.
- Incident reports: retained as long as they remain relevant to community safety, and reviewed periodically for deletion.
- Location data: processed in near-real-time and not retained beyond what is necessary for alert delivery.
- Legal holds: data subject to litigation, regulatory investigation, or legal obligation may be retained longer.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 5).

10. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 18 (or 16 in the EU/UK where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child below the applicable age threshold without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@kasalaalert.com.

Continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
